Péro
Founded in 2009 by textile and dressmaker Aneeth Arora, Péro – meaning ‘to wear’ in Marwari, the native language of Rajasthan – is a sustainable label inspired by Indian craftsmanship. The National Institute of Fashion Technology-graduate uses local artisans and materials to handcraft pieces that fuse a sense of tradition with a contemporary, international verve. Age-old methods of dyeing, intricate needlework and rich embellishment elevate timeless silhouettes, and florals are a particular focus that translate the label’s fondness for the natural world.
